Welcome to my blog!

My name is Prem Sagar. I work in an industry that deals with ‘data’, huge volumes of it! My job is to help the Business users make sense out of ‘data’ and hence to assist in driving key business ‘decisions’. (Data –> Information –> Decision). In short, I work on Business Intelligence, data warehousing and databases.

This blog is a place where I jot down my technical notes, mostly on the following topics

1. Data warehousing
2. Business Intelligence
3. ETL - BODS, BODI, Informatica, etc
4. Databases - especially Oracle
5. SAP suite - SAP CRM, SAP BI (Am new to SAP. Learning & working on SAP BI and SAP CRM currently)
   
6. Market & opportunities for all of the above

The motive behind running this blog is to improve my online presence, to share information with others and also to connect with like-minded people.
